RALEIGH, N.C. (Wireless Flash) — Most people don’t think of a funeral as fun — much less as an appropriate place to pop the question to your girlfriend.But that’s just what one man did — and he’s entered the story of his proposal into a contest looking for the world’s most romantic marriage proposal.

Contest organizer Michael Webb — who calls himself “The RoMANtic” — says the guy popped the question in front of his brother’s casket because he knew his bro was looking forward to seeing him get married.

Other weird proposals submitted to theromantic.com website include a man who wrote his proposal in concrete and the guy who told his girlfriend he would only marry her if she went through the Army Reserves to improve her self-esteem.
